Licensed Tattoo Artist
How would someone go about being a tattoo actor
?
my boyfriend draws very well, and he has made about 10 tattoos so that he can make a portfolio for himself(these people volunteered to be his guinea pig) how would he go about really getting a job in a tattoo parlor…..because as far as licensing goes, I reckon in the state of Georgia the party artists doesn’t have to be qualified , but the shop he facility in must be qualified (even if I could be incorrect)
I used to work at a tattoo shop so from experience, when you want to become a tattoo actor you have to apprentice below one of the artists from the shop if they’ll have you. You really have to want it too. Approximately shops want apprentices with approximately sort of art degree but not all. Generally, you have to speak with the owner of the shop bestow your work and if you’re excellent enough/what they’re looking for they’ll take you but you have to do a lot of shyt work before you can become an actual tattoo actor . It takes a lot of time and dedication. Apprentice work intales: Pretty greatly cleaning the entire shop, Greeting customers, Doing stensils, Doing anything your boss pretty greatly tells you to do(they had me washing their cars be fond of I said a lot of crap work 1st), and scheduling appointments. They won’t let you work on anyone in anticipation of they reckon you’re ready. They’ll go finished your drawings with you and tell you what wants improvement. You have to do a tattoo on yourself before you do anyone else. In approximately states you do need a liscence but not to apprentice when you’re able to get to that point the shop helps you out with that part if needed. In most cases since you’re an apprentice anyone you tattoo at 1st has to sign a release form.
Tattoo shop in the news for terrible piercings!
